I’m guessing they weren’t fire ants?
Because their response isn’t “AAAH! RUN!” it’s more like, “STING THIS FUCKER UNTIL ONE OF US IS DEAD!”
Thankfully not!
I persevered for as long as I could, and while bugs don’t generally freak me out, having a bunch of ants frantically crawling all over my arms started to get to me…
