  1. That is one super calm optometrist.

  2. Then there is the horror of being near-sighted since age 9, hitting middle-age and discovering you need bifocals. :-0

    1. I have progressives, I don’t even notice it anymore.

    2. Then there’s the fun of being too nearsighted to read without glasses since age 7, hitting late middle age, and discovering you can read in bed without glasses! 😀

Of course, next thing is cataracts . . . .

  3. Surprised you didn’t do the “P,r,i,n,t,e,d,I,n,C,h,i,n,a,” joke.

    1. Dang. Missed opportunity!

  4. Ive been squinting at things and what with hitting 30 I figured it was time for my first proper optometrist visit….
Yeah turns out my big scary problem is… I have 20/20 now. It seems I have had way better than 20/20 my whole life and now that I am ageing into adulthood my eyes are becoming normal and I shall one day be slightly nearsighted.

    1. This was actually my problem as well, I spent the majority of my life with something like 20/10 vision, which basically means I have friggin’ sniper eyes, but it’s a little difficult for me to see things close up for long periods of time.

  5. That’s the opposite-sighted as me!
