They make spiky body armour and even chain and plate armour for cats and dogs, some are leather and some are plastic.
We get hawks, eagles and coyotes around here, small dogs have been known to ‘disappear’ and once I saw a fox running across a field with half a cat in it’s mouth 🙁
Good thing our cat doesn’t go outside since it wouldn’t wear any, and the dog is bigger than I am with a six inch coat of hair thicker than any sheep this time of year so she doesn’t need it.
All cats should be allowed out. On their own.
Get a catflap in there asap. Anything less is cruel. There is no such thing as an indoor cat, only cats that aren’t allowed out.
I whole-heartedly disagree. It is dangerous for cats to be out wandering free. There are cars, dogs, and other wild animals that can and will injure and kill them. Sometimes people kill them for fun. They decimate wild bird populations which are already in decline and I will not contribute to that. Housecats are domestic and are perfectly fine living indoors.

Tried leash training our cat. He laid on the floor and chewed on the leash while we dragged him around the room. Every. Time.
