Taking a break…

Hey Creatures, got some news. I think we can all agree the past year has been super rough for everybody and it’s been a struggle to find bright spots to look for. I’m so glad that I’ve been able to be a bright spot for many of you in these really crazy times!

Before I go any further: NO, I’M NOT ENDING LIFE ON A STICK!

But I am taking a break.

I know this is out of the blue, but it has been something I’ve been thinking about. I had hoped to make it until after I had wrapped On the Couch, but between managing virtual school for Xena, the on-going issues with the site, and *gestures at everything else* that time table has moved up a bit. The good news is, I’m planning on a major renovation of the site which will provide a much needed update and give you all a better reader experience. The bad news is I’ve decided to place it “Under Construction” for a bit until I get it sorted out and I’m not entirely sure how long it’s going take. I’ll be posting periodically on Facebook and publicly on Patreon to check in (and I will, of course, still be making exclusive posts for my dear Patrons as well!).

I’ll be away for a little bit, but I really need this time and I know you all will understand! I still plan on finishing On the Couch, and I still plan on sharing my funny moments with you all via Life On a Stick for a long time to come! See you soon!

  1. That sounds healthy… Just my opinion about the Update: PLEASE add Navigation using the cursor keys on the keyboard.

    1. I’ll ask the person helping me about that!

  2. Friendly Frankenstein

Take the time you need! It’s…. yeah it’s been a year. Or so. We’ll be here.

  3. If there’s one thing we all need to take from the dumpster fire that was 2020, it’s that you need to take time for yourself. (says the man with a maxed out leave balance)

  4. It’s been two weeks.
    HAVE YOU RECHARGED YET?!?!?!?!
Seriously, take whatever time you need. I’ll just have to get used to the withdrawal pangs.
And introduce my daughter to your archives (or at least the ones a 4-year-old can comprehend)

  5. A woman entered an online play-on-words contest. She sent in ten submissions, hoping one of them would achieve victory. Unfortunately…..
    No pun in ten did.
