Personally, I’m quite fond of my Honda Element. You have to open the front doors to open the back doors, the back seats are able to recline, to fold up against the sides of the car & be fastened in the up position, or be removed entirely, there are TIE-DOWNS in the car to keep cargo from shifting, and best of all, there’s NO CARPET to try to get clean. Unfortunately they stopped making them in 2011.
One of the best 4 wheeled vehicles out there for the money the first few years they were out. The last few years they were available, they started getting chintzy on things though. Which might be one of the reasons they stopped selling them.
A lot of the last models are already junked. But I’ve friends that have models from the first two years they were around that are still going strong at 200K+
I did really like the Element (the tie downs were a big sell for me. PLUS I recall the commercial showing people literally just hosing down the cargo area), but yeah, can’t get’em anymore, and I wouldn’t want a used one that old ^_^;

I’m with you. If I have to get a car, definitely a station wagon. (Actually the popular thing in my circle is having a Mazda 5.)

Wagons are great. if not for the cost of upkeep (and purchase cost due to rarity) my perfect car would be a BMW M5 Touring.

OOOOOOh, I recall really liking the Scion dash/interior!
I really want the Prius wagon, last time I looked it was the only wagon that comes as a hybrid.
