    I helped one summer at a dog groomer/boarding kennel, and those hair splinters hurt like the dickens!

      Yeh, I learned that these are fairly common with groomers and people with dogs in general (also barbers/hairdressers), but I would have thought most cat hair was too soft. APPARENTLY NOT.

      NO! It was just one of her random hairs! I mean, probably at least a guard hair, but STILL. I was shocked!

    I had a dog hair stuck inside my foot once. It was the weirdest feeling, pulling it out. SO weird.
