In like 2nd grade, a girl I liked sat next to me during lunch and I overthought my chewing. I ended up looking like a cow chewing on cud.
Some things are just not meant to be thought about. Especially try not to think about what your food looks during chewing and when you swallow. Unless you want to start that as a diet, then ONLY do that.

Fortunately, thinking about my own food in my mouth while chewing doesn’t gross me out (although seeing people chew with their mouth open does).
