  1. I remember when my husband bought this healthy peanut butter. It tasted like paper mache, but he thought it tasted like peanut butter!

    I’m guessing this is that omega 3 peanut butter…

    1. I know a big part of it is the fact that my taste buds are just used to super-sweet stuff (I’ve got a big sweet tooth). If I could bring myself to give up sweets for a month, this healthy peanut butter would taste better.

      1. hmmm, sounds like me and my hubby, except the fact we tasted two different things….

        Plus two friends tasted what I did too… so I don’t know, I think that peanut butter was just evil and fooled my husband thinking it could invade my home

        It didn’t count on my power of ‘you are buying skippy or jiff or I switch your computer to a mac!’

  2. I must ask, why even buy celery?

    1. One word: Mirepoix

    2. I like it IN stuff, soups, tuna salad, etc. But I never seem to be able to use it all up in whatever recipes I use. Even if I plan ahead to have two or even three celery-using recipes!

      1. If you’re “just” cooking with it, you can freeze it.

        1. Hrm…I should look into that, I feel dumb saying this, but I never really thought about it. A lot of veggies don’t freeze particularly well.

  4. Bah. The no-added-sugar peanut butter is the best. It tastes way MORE like peanuts.

    1. I came to that conclusion as well, then realized I just didn’t like peanuts THAT much to want them in pure butter form. 😡 Regular peanut butter is definitely more my jam.

      ….ha! JAM! Goes well with PB! 😀

  7. Get a hamster. At least someone (or something) in the house will appreciate the celery and “peanut butter” that way.

    And snack is hardly the word I would use to refer to that mess. UGH!

  8. When you’re on a low carb, no snack diet, peanut butter on celery can be WONDERFUL
