It’s true. I’m pretty sad that I won’t be drawing this apartment anymore, even though it’s been years since I actually lived there (yes, this was a real place I lived!). Until now it was like a little piece of me still lived in Savannah!
I always feel a little sad when I move, too, which was what I was trying to convey here. Not “this is a big mistake” kind of sadness, but the kind you mentioned ^_^

In some ways that’s one of the saddest scenes, an empty house that you have lived in and made good memories in.
But, at the same time, one full of hope and joy. Because now you get to make new memories and a new mess in a new location. 🙂

But new memories and new mayhem will ensue!

There is always a sadness when moving (at least for me) but a new adventure awaits and you will always have the memories :3
Closed door, opened door sagey sounding advice provided….or not so sagey. Ah well. Shenanigans await!

I’ve never moved.

For me it’s always been mostly exciting, exhausting, and a little sad (mostly because I’ve always made good memories in the places I’ve lived)
