Even having visited your home, I find the idea of coating a baking-powder biscuit in chocolate down right disgusting. but then I’m not as big a chocolate fan as I was 30 years ago.
Yeah, I kind of keep forgetting that biscuits in America are much different than biscuits in other countries. An Australian/European biscuit is what we Americans call a cookie.
Biscuits over here are like fluffy, flaky breads that you put butter or jam on. My English friend equated it to something like a softer scone. They’re generally more savory before you put toppings on them.
Yeah, “cookie” we got from Dutch, the influence of New Amsterdam. But I need to look up how use of “biscuit” bifurcated between the US vs Oz & England.
My wife was born in IDAHO, and she recognizes the superiority of biscuits.

But toast is awesome, seriously, get some toast, nice and hot from the toaster, spread some peanut butter, and it becomes, AWESOME!! The peanut butter becomes all soft and melty!

Not a big biscuit person, but I do admit a nice chocolate covered biscuit is a hard thing to resist.
And using a TimTam biscuit as a straw to suck coffee through and getting the coffee+middle layer of chocolate is a decadent thing 0.o
