Reminds me of the story my parents tell of apparently the “Do you like snow Ahmetia?” “I like Power Rangers! The Yellow one is my favorite!” Which there’s the connection that we had a power ranger toboggan so I associated snow with I got to ride in my toboggan.
The book series is “The Parasol Protectorate” by Gail Carriger. It’s steampunk fantasy. The first book is Soulless. If you want a good story with lots of laughs, several strong female characters, and a hot Scottish were-wolf dude I HIGHLY recommend it.

Yes! That’s the one! They’ve come highly recommended ^_^
I had picked up Yummy Mummy, which was super tasty. This is a common situation. Only a few of my friends can follow me, those are my closest and bestest friends :3
I always thought I was alone on these little trips lol. I do it ALL the time and family have learned to live with it. Sometimes I’ll explain, but usually not 😛
It’s nice to know we are not alone in our topic leaping thoughts. The best ones I have found are when you references an inside joke with the person that had stopped being used years ago. That happened last week. My friend’s response “Dang, dust that one off” Heh

Yes but don’t you go on your fair share of “magical journeys” with Jennie?

Fair enough….

Oh shoot…it was in a book Jennie’s been reading, but I’ll be damned if I recall the name of the series. Let me get back to you on that!

Glad I’m not the only one that goes on these magical journeys. And YAY I went to Target and bought Count Chocula AND Boo Berry 🙂
SurlyQueen
I skipped Boo Berry this year, it’s my least favorite. Count Chocula, though. Shoulda gotten more than one box!

I was pleasantly surprised by Yummy Mummy. It kind of tasted like if you turned a creamsicle into a cereal.
Most of my friends can follow me too, and when they can’t they just sorta roll with it.
