  1. I like it.

    1. I’ll admit, I want one of these too. It’d be nice not to have to slather up in sunscreen…but I’ll bet this thing’s kinda warm, too. :/

      1. If she made it herself, then I’d hope she used modern materials that wouldn’t weigh her down nor be annoyingly hot to wear.

  2. The sand will still find a way to those unmentionable crevices. It always does. Evil, evil stuff.

    1. SO true.

      Almost as bad as glitter.

      Almost.

  3. My trivia-and-backstories-brain first went “Wait, wouldn’t he want a wetsuit if he’s trying to keep sand out of all his burn scars?” then the rest of my brain caught up with me once I reached the comments.

Where *did* she get that swimsuit? I don’t care as much about the top half but all I’ve been able to find that weren’t bikini bottoms were skort things or swimshorts. Any of my skin that’s not covered or ridiculously sunscreened (that is a verb!) tends to burn, blister, and peel like snakeskin. (My classmates have asked me not to describe my sunburns anymore)

There is no emoticon for envy of sun-protection and bright colors 🙁

    1. I would say thrift/specialty shop or commissioned. If I can find a silk tophat from the 1920s I’m sure there is swimwear available

      1. Cricket’s pretty handy with a sewing machine, so she would have made this little beauty herself…STILL not sure where she found this fabric, though.

    2. @Kelardry yeeeeeeeeeah, PoJo’s backstory isn’t really something that will be addressed in On the Couch XD

  4. I approve of Cricket’s swimsuit

    1. XD Me too. I too burn to a crisp in the sun. I’d wear one of these.

  5. mm. more like a 70’s jumpsuit. i guess it can be multi funtional

    1. Fair. Though, it was sort of based off of men’s swimwear from the 20s. Just longer legs and frillies. Though, I should have put in some buttons. No clue how she gets into this thing XD

      1. spandex?

        1. ThatOddGuyOverThere

This could be very accurate. There are rashguard bottoms that are ankle length. Given the existence of UV-protective rashguard tops, I would not put UV-protective bottoms out of the question.

      2. Also it has to be said,

If you want to know how to get into her clothes, you might want to start by buying her a drink first.

  6. I. Want. That. SWIMSUIT!!
