My girlfriend once gave me a puppy that within a month ultimately ended up having to be put to sleep rather than linger for weeks in agony. I had of course fully bonded with her by that point.

Wow…That’s so terrible. I’m assuming she had a medical issue.
The short version is my neighbor was a sadistic ass-hat and decided to…in essence drive metal skewers into my pup. So yes she had pierced organs so I guess that counts as a medical issue. But aside from having a bit too much wanderlust for her own good, she was a contender to be a show dog. I feel cleansed having said that.

This year I got an infection in my lower intestines but Santa gave me some kick ass drugs for the pain soooo I guess it evens things out a bit 🙂

Last year (2013) I got a terrible birthday present. Literally two days before my birthday I got the news I had (relativity harmless) cancer. At least I’m cured now and every other present my entire life is bound to be better
