I don’t mind the grownups coming along with their kids, especially if it’s a family themed costume set. It’s the older-than-teenaged men, with no costumes at all and scruffy beards angrily demanding candy and looking at you like you’re the treat…I’d like to tell them to go away or at least put some effort into a costume but I can only imagine the ‘tricks’ they could come up with. It gets worse every year. 🙁
I’m always greatful for these people- for a couple of reasons. One being I was a kid who was cursed to always get read as a lot older then I really was. Tall, brown, well spoken. Getting folks who didn’t care/ liked to see older kids was always nice.
