I have had proper Queso once and absolutely loved it; attempts to recreate via internet recipes have yielded no satisfying results. Interestingly none of the recipes I had used involved putting it in an oven, they just use a pan or ceramic cooker. I now think I may be missing something and will go searching once more.
Scoop some, blow on it until it is .0001 degree below absolutely scalding….

What do you do with fresh-from-the-crockpot stew? Wait for half an hour for it to cool down to JUST hot?!?! Or blow on each bite a little and savor the heat?

Congealed cheese is alright on day old pizza but nothing else, it should have been cooked at 450 anyway for that real napalm effect 😉
