My niece has crocs. She’s 17. When we went hiking up a hill, she flipped the strap down from the front so it went around her heels and declared, “sport mode activated!” Hadn’t heard that before. Was really cute.
Also didn’t know that Crocs have charm things to put in the holes and decorate them. Also cute.
I just bought the Target version of croc-knockoff two strap sandals because they were cheap, and silver metallic. Slightly fancy looking shoes that can get wet in the garden or near the pool. Also liked that they have a rim to the footbed, so harder to stub toes.
Down with the socks! I will wear nothing but sandals from the moment grass begins regrowing until my toes are kicking up snow. I tried Crocs but my cat shredded them pretty quickly. We call her Bear for several reasons.
I must be the exception that doesn’t like the look or feel of crocs no matter how many charms and things you stick in them and given my general luck, I’d end up cutting my foot on a charm or catching one on one foot against one on the other and faceplanting on gravel.
