    It could have been worse. Our local “mix” radio station declares itself “mixmas” during the holidays, playing nothing but Christmas music. They started on Halloween night this year.

      Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I listened to a local station that wasn’t NPR (despite my car only having radio/CD capabilities).
