I’ve managed to avoid traveling issues on this level. I think I’ve had a 20–40 minute plane wait at most.
However, a few years back my parents were on the cruise ship that got blown into the pier by the wind while docking. That made the news.
Yeah, I’ve been pretty lucky with air travel until this trip! This is the first time I’ve ever been delayed more than 20mins or so, let alone hours. I hope your parents got compensated for the cruise (I’m assuming they didn’t get to go??)! Our ship had a hole in the outer hull before we left! They got it fixed and I know it was because the ship made contact with the dock, but I never did find out how it happened!

Haha! No, thankfully, we did in fact actually make it into the air and safely back down to land! Sure took long enough, though!

Oh, the dock thing happened During the cruise. I don’t remember if they got anything out of it other than a story, though.

Honestly, the story is probably the best souvenir from something like that, I don’t know if I’d want a more dramatic one, tbh XD
