Okay, see, so this animal had given me a new shirt and I tried it on, and then went and sold a bunch of stuff and accidentally sold the outfit I had been wearing, so then I'm standing around in an ugly shirt that I had meant to sell (and no pants) and I can't run around town digging up flowers looking like that. Fortunately, I had another of the same outfit in my closet, but it was in a different color and definitely not as cute. But I'll suffer and do all my flower arranging in a slightly less cute shirt and overalls until the proper color I reordered comes in.

And no, it doesn't matter what outfit I run around in my little Animal Crossing village. None of the animals that live there wear pants either and compliment me on my clothing choices no matter how absurd. That's beside the point, which is that I will change virtual outfits to suit my virtual tasks because it looks weird to do my virtual gardening in a virtual evening gown dammit!

I know. Raf doesn't get it either.
