Fellow jazz lover here. I’ve learned it’s a genre people either like it or don’t…although I’ve known people who don’t like anything related to be-bop or anything composed past 1950. I like most jazz but bop is my favorite. Had an ex who disliked because he found it “disorganized,” and only would listen to hot/big band jazz. *shrugs*
