Just checked the weather in Atlanta (just guessing Wendy 😉 ); currently it’s rainy and 42 degrees F. So yeah, I could go for heated seats there too. Wish my car had them here in Albuquerque, a balmy 31.
My parents never left the Pennsylvania Northern Greater Appalachia county where they were born, a place with an odd microclimate that makes it like a little chunk of Alaska for weather.
Their last car had heated and air conditioned seats, and I HATED them. The heating, to me, was like sitting on a hot skillet, and one day in summer, on the way to the bike trail with Dad, I was freezing in shorts till I found out the seat was refrigerated.

Yep, Atlanta! Woke up this morning and it was a balmy TWENTY-NINE DEGREES OUT.
(I, straight-up, want heated seats when it’s anywhere below 50!)
