We tried gating off the kitchen. Worked OK, until our daughter learned to climb FASTER.
Hahaha!
Gating wasn’t really an option for our kitchen because the entrance is at a weird angle. We only put gates at the top and bottom of the stairs.
I’m just spitballing here, but do you have a pillowcase and someone who owes you money?
Or someone you owe money, but who’d accept a pillowcase full of doorknobs.
I kidproofed the house
But they still get in. 🙂
Why are baby/pet gates so short, 2, maybe 3 feet? Who do they really think that will keep out? Where are the 4, or 5, foot high models?
I know, right?!
We got to set the gates we put on the stairs a bit higher because we had to screw them into the wall, so there was that. We couldn’t put a gate on the kitchen because there’s no door frame and the entrance is on an angle.
