My husband employs the ‘circle the block’ technique. Where he will circle a random block over and over again until the person following him gives up. He claims when he lived in a super sketchy neighborhood sometimes people would just follow folks home and he and a lot of neighbors would use this technique.

Hey, it could have just been a psycho stalker.
Or very determined Jehovah’s Witness.
Or someone who got lost and followed you because you seemed to know where you were going.
Or a deranged number-one fan who wants to be as close to you as possible.
(Don’t worry; it ain’t me, babe. I can barely survive my city’s traffic. Atlanta area driving would kill me)

See: Reasons why I don’t put stuff advertising my art on my car XD
And Atlanta driving is NUTS. Even when it’s not rush hour!
99% of the time it’s a neighbor, lol!

That’s a good way to get people off your tail for sure!
Our current neighborhood is quite safe, but I have definitely lived in some pretty crazy places.
