There’s no point waiting for the ‘push pull or drag’ guaranteed trace-in price sale, they just increase the sale price to cover it. We wanted to get a new one a few years ago and some that looked exactly like ours with WAY higher mileage were going for around $10,000 so we expected a decent tradein. They offered us $1100 !! We walked out, kept the car for another 7 years and eventually sold it out of the driveway to someone passing by, with a rusted out frame and a busted transmission for….$1100. I hate used car dealers. I know they have to feed their families too, but not caviar and truffles !! Maybe skip the huge fancy chrome and glass buildings and sell cars for decent prices ?
