And now I’m oddly reminded of my ex-boyfriend and his mom’s cat. Any time said boyfriend would come near me when I was showing the cat any attention, kitty would hiss angrily and run away. That’s not really defending my honor so much as a passive-aggressive feline acting grumpy. ;^)
