This is why prints are so popular in summer, especially popsicle and condiment coloured patterns 🙂

coughing in public in a post-covid world just feels different.
ALL THE TIME
Definitely not alone. Happens often I think it’s an esophagus strength issue, it got better after I started doing exercises.
Every swallow is a fifty-fifty chance…at best.
Every breath has a little better odds but in Spring there are bugs…so many bugs.Just a little for you our dear Empress of Surliness:

What?? Nothing with bacon?!
They don’t make kosher bacon…yet… but turkey bacon is great !!!
-
I like turkey bacon almost as much as the usual stuff, honestly!

better, depending on the brand, some have an awful chemical aftertaste but a few are really good. The Superstore ‘President’s choice’ is the best by far but they’ve priced themselves out of my league, the Walmart store brand is pretty good and Butterball isn’t bad but it’s a little thin.
I recently found out how easy it is to make ribbon fries so I make short ones then like a true Quebecer I make them into poutine. The shape catches cheese so well.
-
They hold the gravy better too, fresh straight cut are good but I like the crinkle fries if they’re crisp but not burnt. Poutine is a gift from G-d, especially with donair meat or the xmas dinner kind with turkey gravy, stuffing, turkey meat and cheese with cranberry sauce on the side 🙂

Never been. What can I get onna stick?

Lots of stuff…though, literally the only thing I can recall off the top of my head right this second is Steak on a Stake. ^_^;
I haven’t been to a Ren Faire in years but it’s an 8 hour drive and across the border plus neither one of us can walk around all day anymore so we probably won’t be going again 🙁
I can recommend this one though if anyone is close enough to it, it’s a lot of fun and it’s HUGE !!! We’ve been there several times but not for about ten years, and we always looked forward to going back. You can get lots of things on sticks too 🙂

If it wasn’t for the last minute, nothing would get done.
At least it wasn’t one, or both, of the kids casually mentioning they needed something for a big project/presentation/bakesale…at eight PM the day before it’s due.Leave a Reply

AND NOW THE CURSE IS YOURS!!!!!!
My trunk keeps opening for no reason. Best I can guess, the trunk button in the key chain gets held down in my pocket.When I got my new car, my favorite feature was the sunroof. Now it’s the heated steering wheel in the winter.
-
>heated steering wheel
Gloves have taken care of that for me :}
Bun warmers and a heated steering wheel !!!
Oddly enough, our last car didn’t have a trunk release of any kind except on the key fob, what looked like a keyhole was a fake, I guess it was to give crooks something to do until the police showed up 🙂Leave a Reply

There was a sudden hailstorm in the town we lived in out west, with hailstones the size of your fist. There was millions of dollars in damage to car dealer lots alone plus other people’s parked cars and other things. Luckily ours was parked in an area that didn’t get the hail. Those storms were funny, it might be hailing on one side of the street and nothing on the other.
