They have extensive training to sell cars effectively for the highest price, and they do it for a living.
Unfortunately, few of us have extensive training in how to buy them…
Raf basically already knew what he was going to get, we literally only went to test drive it to make sure. And then bought the one he picked out online. This guy didn’t even try to upsell us or anything and unless he also got extensive training on D&D AND MTG, his interests there were genuine.
I find the “real nerds” in my discrete math classes when we do pythagorean solids and then some of them know what the dice handouts are 😆. I usually have a few offer to share theirs’ too; it brings a tear of pride to my heart.
