I cut my hair to deal with that problem. Eventually I can slide it out of his hands. But he grabs big handfuls, so it doesn’t hurt as much, which lets me apply enough force.
Yeah, I cut my hair as well, but she’ll grab the shorter hairs that start right at my hairline (I call them my wisp-ies) and it’s excruciating! Side note: how does she always seem to grab the SAME ONE every time?!

My niece once grabbed a fistful of beard when she was an infant… it was most unpleasant.
