  1. The bane of my existence is when a random gust of wind will attempt to take your skirt up and over your head.

  2. Solution: More dress! Five or six, and a bustle, and a stole, and six live ocelots to warm with body heat.

If I ever manage to start my clothing line “It Has Pockets”, would a dress that contains matching shorts be a plus? Like, one inch shorter, same fabric, same pattern. Just protects from breezes and perverts.

    1. Sounds good to me. I would suggest something more like cheerleader bloomers though. And maybe sell them as separates, not attached.

  3. Southerners. *eyeroll*
Around here, it’s common to see people in shorts and t-shirts down to about 40F (4C) (sometimes lower).
Admittedly, I don’t wear dresses (or skirts) often, but still. I’ll never understand people who intentionally live in hot, humid areas, but to each their own.

    1. Around these parts it’s very short shorts, cowboy boots, and T-shirt-denim-jacket combo. Until we hit about 30 and can’t pull off the short-shorts, when it becomes a skirt, etc.

  4. I have literally worn flannel pants under my long skirts in the snowy winter here in the Rockies. No one can tell, and I stay warm. For more drapey or close fitting skirts, I wear leggings. Also, it’s wise to own some good knee high fancy boots. Those under a skirt with leggings and you stay about as warm as pants.

I made the news up here during the midnight release of the Cataclysm expansion for WoW due to the cameraperson repeatedly panning to me in the line as I was in a kilt.

    In Buffalo.

    In December.
