I used to copyedit books (lifer in the publishing gulag), so jerks occasionally tell me about how they’re going to write a book. (I mean, people who are gonna write a book like I’m gonna be crowned Emperor of Mars, not people who actually write.)
Mostly, I just tell them that I’m not ever gonna write a book, because I know how much damn work is involved. 🙂
