This reminds me of an ad for some lemmnings clone game that I once saw in a magazine that had some sort of lemming like creatures that turn into zombies if they are teleported and the player the assistant of some wizard who accidentally sends the things through a portal and the same revolves around the player re-collecting all the creatures.
