You have to bend a little further, and not have gotten the nob to lotioned up, but it is possible to turn the knob and pull with it gripped tightly between your forearms.
Last winter I would have to give up and sleep with the bedside light on every so often because of “lotion hands”. I kept meaning to get one with a pull cord instead of a turn knob but never did.

Heh, I have a comic about that very thing. Raf wouldn’t let me just sleep with the light on. Something about wasting electricity, blah, blah XD
