It’s not Thanksgiving if I don’t have a couple of slices of canned cranberry goodness glistening next to my mom’s cornbread dressing!
My dad likes to make his own cranberry chutney, but jam/sweet stuff with meat is mostly confusing to me.
I’ve got a friend that makes a cran chutney as well, but hers is tart, so it’s not as weird of a combination (at least not for me), especially since turkey is a pretty bland meat by itself. But yeh, sweet + meat is a little weird for me, too.
